"Maryse's expression changed slowly from bewilderment to shock as she looked at Luke - really looked at him - for the first time."

For my first cover lust post, I am going to feture two books by Lisa Mantchev.
She contacted me on Myspace a few years ago...around the time "Eyes Like Stars" was being published.
Ever since then I could not the the beautiful coverart out of my head.
I have not read the books yet, but I cannot wait to get my hands on them!

And, check out this book trailer for "Perchance to Dream."
It has some awesome artwork, as well as some lovey music.

Let me know what you think!
"Waiting On" is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.
This week I am waiting on:

Dead Reckoning

(Sookie Stackhouse / Southern Vampire Series #11)

 by Charlaine Harris

From Goodreads:
"With her knack for being in trouble's way, Sookie witnesses the firebombing of Merlotte's, the bar where she works. Since Sam Merlotte is now known to be two-natured, suspicion falls immediately on the anti-shifters in the area. But Sookie suspects otherwise and she and Sam work together to uncover the culprit - and the twisted motive for the attack. But her attention is divided. Though she can't 'read' vampires, Sookie knows her lover Eric Northman and his 'child' Pam well - and she realises that they are plotting to kill the vampire who is now their master. Gradually, she is drawn into the plot -which is much more complicated than she knows. Caught up in the politics of the vampire world, Sookie will learn that she is as much of a pawn as any ordinary human - and that there is a new Queen on the board . . "

I loved all the previous books and I can't wait to see what crazy things Sookie gets hersefl into this time! lol

What are you waiting on?

My Teaser:
"He reached over and pulled the sparkling pins out of her hair, so that if fell in warm and heavy curls down her neck. The sensation of hair tickling her bare skin was unfamiliar and oddly pleasant."

Hello, everyone!

So, I finally broke down and made an account. I want this to me a place where I can come and share my love of the written word. I am going to keep track of the book challenges that I do. And, I might throw in some reviews.

I usually do the 50 Book Challenge. Basically you try to read 50 (or 100, 20...whichever amount you chose) in one year. I don't think I've ever came close. lol  It's mainly due to school, but I still try!

This year I am going to attempt the YA series challenge which is "held" by Farrah and Britney - I Eat Words
and Shannon - Stalking The Bookshelves.
It looks fun and I can't wait to get started!

P.S. If you guys have any tips on how I can make this all pretty and add all the neat little things, please let me know. I am kinda lost! lol
